Michael Carin studied political theory at McGill University, and graduated with an honours B.A. in 1972. For several years he taught English composition at Concordia University, as well as Business Writing at McGill University’s school of continuing education. During the mid-’80s, he wrote feature stories and reviews for the Books section of the Montreal Gazette. From 1986 to 1992, he was Director of Communications for a real estate consulting firm. For 12 years thereafter, he was Editor-in-Chief of Montreal Business Magazine. At present, he works as a corporate communications and investor relations specialist.
