Nicole Brossard has been writing for a long time: she wrote her first collection Aube À la Maison in 1965, and has been writing and translating ever since. Her most recent piece, White Piano, was shortlisted for the 2014 Best Translated Book Award. rnShe currently lives in Outremont.
