Monique Durand

Writer, journalist, director and producer, Monique Durand was born in Montreal in 1953. She studied law in Montreal and political science in Paris. Her published work includes a collection of short stories and the novel La Femme du peintre. She has received several prizes and distinctions and has given conferences in numerous cities worldwide, including Montreal, Québec, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Oslo and Copenhagen.
