Walter Buchignani was born in Montreal in 1965. He graduated from Concordia with a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science in 1988. He has been working at the Montreal Gazette since 1987. He was 25 when he began the interviews for Tell No One Who You Are. This consumed most of his spare time for the next two and a half years. He now writes regularly about Formula One racing.
