Michel Auger

Michel Auger was born in Shawinigan, Quebec in 1944. He has been a journalist with Le Nouvelliste, Métro-Express, radio station CKVL, and La Presse. Between 1979 and 1984 he was a producer with the CBC television program The Fifth Estate. Since then, he has been a reporter with Le Journal du Montréal. Auger has achieved international recognition for his expertise with respect to crime in Canada, and his courage and persistence in reporting on criminal activities.
