Morton Weinfeld holds the Chair in Canadian Ethnic Studies, and directs the minor program in Canadian Ethnic Studies. His research typically focuses on race relations, ethnicity, immigration, and the sociology of Jews. He is the author of the book Like Everyone Else, but Different, and the co-author of the books Ethnicity, Politics and Public Policy: Case Studies in Canadian Diversity; and Who Speaks for Canada?. He is also one of the editors of Still Moving: Recent Jewish Migration in Comparative Perspective.
