Lesley Trites

Lesley Trites is the author of the story collection A Three-Tiered Pastel Dream (Véhicule Press, May 2017) and the poetry collection echoic mimic (Snare/Invisible Publishing, 2011). She was a November 2016 fiction resident at the Vermont Studio Center, the winner of the 2016 3Macs carte blanche Prize, and a finalist for the 2013 Quebec Writing Competition. rnLesley’s fiction has recently appeared in carte blanche, Tupelo Quarterly, Eclectica Magazine, and the anthology Salut King Kong: New English Writing from Quebec (Véhicule Press, 2014). Her non-fiction has appeared in The Los Angeles Review of Books, Maisonneuve, Montreal Review of Books, Montreal Gazette, and AFAR, among others. She holds degrees from the University of Victoria (MA) and the University of Toronto (BA).rnOriginally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Lesley currently lives in Montreal. When not writing fiction, she works as a freelance writer and developmental editor.
