Mike Spry has written for the Toronto Star, FLOOD, Indiewire, The National Post, Maisonneuve, TSN, and MTV, among many others, and is the author of three books: JACK, Distillery Songs, and Bourbon & Eventide. He has been recognized as a Canada Council for the Arts Grant recipient, longlisted for the Journey Prize, and shortlisted for the AM Klein Prize and ReLit Award. He currently teaches writing, composition, and rhetoric at a prison in Connecticut.
