Jean-Pierre Sawaya holds a PhD in History from Université Laval. He is particularly interested in the political history and diplomatic traditions of the Indigenous peoples of Quebec. He is now working on the history of the RCMP’s relations with Indigenous people. He lives in Quebec City.
