Erato Evangelidis Sahapoglu was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She migrated to Canada in 1963 with her engineer husband and her family. She holds a degree in art history and her short stories have appeared in Spinetingler magazine and others. She lives in Brossard, Quebec, near her daughters and their families.
