Susan Romvary fled from Hungary in 1957 with her husband, young son and elderly mother. She has worked as an accountant since her arrival in Canada. She is the vice-president of the Montreal branch of the Canadian Author’s Association and the Hungarian Literary Association. She has been a guest on radio shows and has given many readings in Montreal and Ottawa.
