Rita Pomade

Rita Pomade, a native New Yorker, first settled in Mexico before immigrating to Quebec. She was contributing editor for Mexconnect, an ezine devoted to Mexican culture, and had a Dear Rita column in the Chapala Review. In Montreal, she taught English Second Language at Concordia University and McGill University. As a screenwriter, she has won two awards for screenplays submitted to the Moondance International Film Festival. Her work is in the Monologue Bank, and has appeared in two anthologies and a number of poetry reviews.
