Joyce Myerson

Joyce Myerson taught for many years in Italian Studies at McGill University in Montreal. She is a professional translator from Italian of articles and books on history (especially medieval history), psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis. Her own novels, In the Warrens of East London, and Who is Francesca Oliver? will be published in 2025, and Self-Disclosure in 2026 by AOS Publishing in Montreal. Her short stories have appeared in various American and Canadian magazines (The Write Launch, Cagibi, CommuterLit). In 2024, her translation of the novel, The Caravaggio Syndrome, by Alessandro Giardino was published by Rutgers University Press. It is now up for a literary prize (Italian prose in translation). Her translations of several short stories and a prize-winning novella by Irene Grazzini have been published over the last five years.
