A native of Toronto now living in Montréal, Elaine Kennedy studied at York University, the Sorbonne and the Université de Montréal. She has taught translation at Concordia University and worked as a translator in the academic, cultural and corporate sectors. Her translations of a literary nature include both fiction and non-fiction.
