Joan E. Irving

Joan Irving is a translator specializing in film and television (subtitles and narrations; scripts and treatments), as well as an editor of translations and other works. Educated in Alberta, she has lived and worked in Montreal for more than 20 years. She is a script consultant for Telefilm Canada and a long-time collaborator with Kinograph Inc. In addition to film and television writing, her interests include Canadian history, literacy, and English as a second language.
