Ian Howarth is a former high school teacher who now works as a freelance journalist. He has written for magazines and newspapers including the Montreal Gazette, the Toronto Star and the Calgary Herald. A Loyola College and McGill University graduate, he has called Montreal his home since 1963. He now lives in Pointe Claire.
