A graduate of The University of Waterloo (’89) BFA-Film Studies; Stephen went on to work for various film productions before directing the Neo-Noir feature: Lucky 7. The film went on to screen at the Shanghai International Film Festival 2012 and distribution with Factory Film Studio. After completing a number of new scripts, Stephen turned his attention to novel writing. When The Luck Runs Dry is his first novel and he is currently in development of the sequel: Fallen Angels. Stephen currently resides in Montreal and spends his non writing hours cycling, watching films, and producing a radio programme for CKUT 90.3 FM.
