Mary-Louise Gay is a world-renowned author and illustrator of children’s books, best known for her six Stella books and three books about Stella’s little brother Sam, which have been published in more than 15 languages and are loved by children all over the world. She has won two Governor General’s awards, the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Award, the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award, and has been nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
