Susan Gabori was a writer based in Montreal. Starting her career as a camerawoman, she wrote and directed documentary films for the National Film Board, the CBC, and CTV, and also wrote numerous articles for magazines and newspapers. She was the author of In Search of Paradise, about a family of Italian immigrants; Blind Sacrifice: Portraits of Murderers; Sulayman: A Journey to Love and Truth; and A Good Enough Life: The Dying Speak. She graduated with a master’s degree in film studies from Hornsey College of Art, London, UK.
