Born in Montreal, Marie Frankland works as a translator for television. Her translation of A.M. Klein’s the Rocking Chair, La chaise bercante, won the John Glassco prize and was a Governor General’s translation prize finalist in 2007. She has also translated Le tamis des jours a selection of poems by Robyn Sarah, published by Les Editions Noroit in 2007.
