Calvin D. Evans is a retired librarian, having worked at Memorial University of Newfoundland, University of Guelph, University of Alberta and McGill University in Montreal. In 1993, while at McGill, Evans took a sabbatical and completed his research in Newfoundland. Evans is also a retired United Church minister.
