Nisha Coleman

Nisha Coleman was born in a swamp near Huntsville, Ontario.rnrnShe studied music and psychology at McGill and Wilfrid Laurier University. Once school was out of the way, she went to live in Paris as a street violinist. Her memoir about these years is called Busker: Stories from the Streets of Paris and was released with Hagios Press in November 2015.rnrnNisha has performed for events such as Yarn, Confabulation, Risk!, Raconteurs, Ladyfest, and ZooFest and her work has been featured on WireTap, PBS, MAtv, Risk! and No More Radio. She is a co-producer for Confabulation one of Montreal’s monthly storytelling series, and a regular performer at storytelling events in Montreal and Toronto.
