Aude (Claudette Charbonneau-Tissot)

Born in Montreal in 1947, Aude received her doctorate in French literature from the University of Laval in 1985. She has published several novels and short story collections, as well as children’s stories. In 1997, Aude received the Governor General’s Literary Award for her book of short stories Cet Imperceptible Mouvement. She received ELLE Quebec’s readers’ award for her novel L’Enfant Migrateur in 1999. Aude has been a finalist for numerous other literary awards, including Prix de l’Académie des Lettres du Québec, Prix France-Québec, Prix Paris-Québec, Grand Prix du livre de Montréal and Prix des Libraires.
