Christophe Chowanietz

Christophe Chowanietz receieved his Ph.D. in political science from the Université de Montréal and his MSc in international relations from the London School of Economics. His main research interests lie in the interactions between domestic politics and international affairs, the impact of political violence on democratic institutions, terrorism and the rally-around-the-flag phenomenon. He has worked for the European Commission on the transition of the East European countries and their integration to the European Union. He is professor of political science at John Abbott College.
