Asa Boxer’s first book, The Mechanical Bird, was published in 2007 by Véhicule Press in its Signal Editions poetry series. He won first prize in the 2005 CBC/enRoute poetry competition, and his poems, articles, and reviews have appeared in Poetry London, Arc, Books in Canada, Maisonneuve and CNQ. He lives in Montreal.
