Sheila McLeod Arnopoulos

Sheila McLeod Arnopoulos, an investigative journalist for many years in Montreal, has written about English-French relations, minority issues, and the problems of the working poor. rnrnHer books include The English Fact in Quebec (with rnDominique Clift), which won a Governor’s General’s Award; Voices from French Ontario; and the novel Jackrabbit Moon. rnrnShe has received a National Newspaper Award, a Media Club of Canada Award, as well as a France/Quebec Intercultural Exchange Award to write about foreign workers in France. She was also given a special prize by the YWCA in Montreal for her writing about women and work.
