Michel Anctil has retired and is affiliated to the Department of Biological Sciences, Université de Montréal as honorary professor. Michel now writes books on the history of biological topics related to research fields in which he has engaged during his academic career. His most recent publication is ‘Luminous Creatures: The History and Science of Light Production in Living Organisms’.
