Mishka Lavigne

Mishka Lavigne is a playwright, screenwriter, and literary translator. Her plays have been developed and performed in Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia, Haiti, and Mexico. In 2023, she was a finalist for the Siminovitch Prize. Mishka’s writing has received numerous prizes, including the Governor General’s Award for Havre in 2019 and Copeaux in 2021, the Prix Jacques-Poirier for Copeauxin 2021, and the QWF Playwriting Award for Albumen in 2020. As a translator, both in French and English, Mishka has more than twenty credited translations of theatre, prose, and poetry.
