Jessica B. Hill is a bilingual actor, playwright, and educator. She has spent eight seasons with the Stratford Festival, most recently starring as Viola in Twelfth Night. She made her debut as a playwright in 2023 with Pandora and The Dark Lady. The Dark Lady will be part of Bard on the Beach’s 2025 season, and Red Bull Theatre is hosting a staged reading of the play this November in NYC. The Dark Lady‘s first two productions were cumulatively nominated for twelve theatre awards across three provinces and won six. Jessica is playwright-in-residence at Necessary Angel theatre company and teaches Chekhov at the National Theatre School.
