Cora Siré is the author of two novels, two poetry collections, and a collection of stories, her latest, Fear the Mirror (Véhicule Press, 2021). Her novel, Behold Things Beautiful, was a finalist for the QWF’s Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Fiction Prize in 2017.
Cora’s stories, essays, and poems have appeared in many anthologies and magazines in Canada, the US, Mexico, and Europe. Her work has been translated into French and Spanish.
Based in Montréal, she often writes of elsewheres, drawing on encounters in faraway places and her family history of displacement.
