Terang by Ila Grayland
Terang, which means “bough of a tree by water” in the Aboriginal, is a town of 997 inhabitants situated on the flat plains of the Western District of Victoria, Australia. The poems in this book describe the life and people of this town and surrounding countryside. The original English poems are published alongside their French translations by Berthe Fouchier-Axelsen.
