Carolinevu-270x179

Caroline Vu was born in Vietnam where she spent a part of her childhood ducking the rockets. She left Vietnam in 1970, moving first to the U.S., then to Canada. Her memories of war-torn Vietnam and integration into North American life have inspired her novel ‘Palawan Story.’

In Canada the author graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in Political Philosophy and went on to study medicine at Université de Montréal. She now works as a family physician in Montreal.

Besides writing, Caroline enjoys traveling. Her travel articles have been published in many newspapers including the Seattle Times, the Toronto Star, the Montreal Gazette, Doctor’s Review and the Medical Post. She has published a scientific article in Le Médecin du Québec. She has also worked as a freelance journalist for two Costa Rican newspapers, the Tico Times and La Republica. Palawan Story is her first novel.
