Phyllis Rudin
Phyllis Rudin has lived in the U.S., France, and Canada. Her award-winning short stories have appeared in numerous Canadian and American literary magazines, including Bound Off; a Monthly Literary Audio Magazine, Prairie Fire, Qwerty Magazine, Prism International, This Magazine, and the Massachusetts Review. Her story “Candlepower” won first prize in This Magazine’s Great Canadian Literary Hunt 2010 (short fiction category), and her (as yet) unpublished novel, CEO of Oz, won second prize in the novel manuscript category for the Yeovil Literary Prize 2010. Before turning to writing full-time, she was the history librarian at McGill University. She lives in Montreal, which serves as the landscape for all her fiction. Evie, the Baby and the Wife is her first published novel.
