Louise Carson
Born in Montreal and raised in Hudson, Quebec, Louise Carson studied music, played jazz piano, and sang in the chorus of the Canadian Opera Company. Her books include the mystery novels The Cat Among Us, The Cat Vanishes, and The Cat Between; Executor, a political mystery; Mermaid Road, a novella; A Clearing, a collection of her poetry; and Rope: A Tale Told in Prose and Verse. Rope is the prequel to The Chronicles of Deasil Widdy: In Which, Measured, and Third Circle. Louise lives with her daughter and their pets in rural Quebec where she gardens, writes, and teaches music.
