Gail Scott
Gail Scott is the author of six books, including Heroine (Coach House, 1987; Talonbooks, 1999) and the acclaimed Main Brides (Coach House, 1993; Talonbooks,1997). Her most recent novel, My Paris (Mercury Press, 1999), was selected by Quill & Quire as one of the ten best novels published in Canada in 1999. Scott was nominated for a 2001 Govenor General’s Award for her translation into English of Michael Delisle’s The Sailor’s Disquiet.
