Andrea Tone


Andrea Tone is the Canada Research Chair in the Social History of Medicine at McGill University. She is the author of several books and edited volumes, including Devices and Desires: A History of Contraceptives in America, and Medicating Modern America: Prescription Drugs in History, with Elizabeth Siegel Watkins. Her work has been featured on ABC News, PBS, National Public Radio, CBC, the History Channel, and in the New York Times.
