Gina Roitman
Short story writer and poet Gina Roitman was born in Passau, Germany. Her work has aired on CBC Radio and appeared in several publications including The Gazette, Quills Poetry Magazine and carte blanche, where she won first prize in the inaugural issue for her story, “Tateh and the Angel of Death.” As the daughter of Holocaust survivors, Roitman was designated a Displaced Person at birth but luckily lives in Montreal where DPs from everywhere have taken refuge. A former journalist, she has been a theatrical publicist, professional fundraiser, advertising executive and currently is a communications consultant in the travel and tourism industry.
