Ruth Taylor was born in Lachine, Quebec, in 1961. She received a bachelor’s degree from McGill University, and then a master’s degree in creative writing from Concordia University. She published two volumes of poetry, The Drawing Board and The Dragon Papers. She was the editor of Muse On!, an anthology of poetry associated with the Montreal publisher The Muses Company. She passed away in February of 2006.
