Erín Moure has published seventeen books of poetry, and has translated thirteen volumes from French, Spanish, Galician, and Portuguese, by poets such as Nicole Brossard (co-translator), Andrés Ajens, Louise Dupré, Rosalía de Castro, Chus Pato, and Fernando Pessoa. Moure’s work has received the Governor General’s Award, the Pat Lowther Memorial Award, and the QWF’s A. M. Klein Prize for Poetry. She has been a three-time finalist for the Griffin Prize (twice for translation), and a finalist for the Kobzar Prize. In 2014, Insecession appeared, a biopoetics echoing Chus Pato’s Secession. Kapusta is a French/English play-poem-cabaret, a sequel to The Unmemntioable, and an outcry against genocides.
