Julie Keith was born and raised near Chicago and earned a B.A. from Smith College in 1962 and an M.A. from Concordia University in 1989. Keith’s stories have been published in Canadian literary journals, including Canadian Fiction Magazine, Fiddlehead and Event. She has been shortlisted three times for the CBC Literary Contest. Her story collection The Jaguar Temple was short-listed for the 1995 Governor General’s Award for Fiction. She lives in Montreal.
