Elaine A. Sernovitz Zimbel is a writer, psychotherapist, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her fiction has been published in The Kenyon Review, Paris News Post, and most recently in a special fiction issue of the Canadian Journal of Psychoanalysis. Her non-fiction writings have been published in The New York Times, many American magazines, in England and in Canada. She has had a radio column on CBC radio, has won the Gordon L. Bennett award for investigative journalism for a series on the medical business in Prince Edward Island on radio, TV, and in print. She now lives in Montreal with her husband of many years, the noted photographer, George S. Zimbel.
