Miriam Packer
Miriam Packer has a Ph.D. in literature from l’Université de Montréal, and is a full-time teacher of English literature at Dawson College in Montreal. She has published fiction and plays, and continues to work in both genres. Her next publication will be a novel, titled In My Father’s Garden.
Her previous works include Song for My Father (Guernica, 2003), Us Fools Believing (Guernica, 2000), Piece Work (Guernica, 1997), and Take Me to Coney Island. Guernica (1993).
She has won the Dorothy Cameron Watt Award for Drama for Piece Work and the Saidye Bronfman Award for Fiction.
