Ami Sands Brodoff is the award-winning author of three novels and a volume of stories.  Her previous novel, The White Space Between, about a mother and daughter struggling with the impact of the Holocaust, won The Canadian Jewish Book Award for Fiction. Bloodknots, a volume of thematically linked stories about families on the edge, was a finalist for The ReLit Award. Ami’s debut novel, Can You See Me? was nominated for The Pushcart Prize.She has been a fellow at Yaddo, The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, The Ragdale Foundation, The David and Julia White Artists’ Foundation and the St. James Cavalier Center for the Arts in Valetta, Malta. Brodoff grew up in New York and New Jersey and now makes her home in Montreal with her husband and children.
