Ronald Sutherland
Ronald Sutherland was born and raised in the largely French-speaking East End of Montreal. He taught at l’Université� de Sherbrooke and founded the discipline of Comparative Canadian Literature. He has published numerous scholarly articles and books, humourous vignettes for newspapers and two novels, one of which, Lark des Neiges [Snow Lark in paperback] became the feature film Suzanne.
