Born in Trois-Rivières in 1931, Jean Béliveau was a prolific member of the Montréal Canadians from 1950 to 1971, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972. He was the co-author of his biography Jean Béliveau: My Life in Hockey, which was published in 1994. Jean Béliveau regrettably passed away on December the 2nd, 2014.
