Richard W. Pound is a partner in the Montreal office of Stikeman Elliott LLP. He has lectured on taxation matters at McGill University in the Faculty of Law and in the McGill Centre for Continuing Education in the Chartered Accountancy program. Chancellor of McGill University from 1994 to 1999, Pound was chair of the university’s Board of Governors. He has also served as a member of the International Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Olympic Games Study Commission and the IOC’s Coordination Commission for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Also, he is an active member of the Advisory Council of Canada’s National History Society.
