Esther Dagan is recognized as an award-winning short story writer and African art expert. She received her undergraduate and Master’s degrees from Tel Aviv University in theatre and drama. She studied in Paris at the Cantorum Dance Academy and went on to investigate African dance and rituals in their countries of origin. Dagan arrived in Montreal in 1978. She has at least one other play and three screenplays to her credit.
