Antonio D'Alfonso
Antonio D’Alfonso was born in Montreal. In 1978 he founded Guernica Editions, where he edited over three hundred books by authors from around the world. An author himself, he has published a number of books in French and in English. He also worked as literary critic in numerous magazines across Canada, in both English and French. In 1986, along with three other writers, he founded the Association of Italian-Canadian writers. In addition, he has produced short films, and has collaborated either as scriptwriter, cameraperson, or as editor on other films. He lives in Toronto.
