Jacqueline Nugent
Jacqueline Nugent was born in 1946 and spent her youth in Oakville, Ontario. She moved to Quebec in 1970 where she became enamoured with the French culture. In 1984, she published Beyond the Door, a fantasy-adventure for 10- to 12-year-olds. Her second novel, The Glass Treehouse, is adult fiction and centers around an American woman who arrives in Quebec with her draft-dodger boyfriend in the seventies.
