Paddy Webb was born in Essex, England. Her early poetry was published in the Observer, The New Yorker and other British journals. Now that she has retired from her position at McGill University in Montreal, she divides her time between her cottage in the Eastern Townships and her daughter’s home in London. She passed away in 1993.
